West Palm Beach sewer pipe lining service explained – By Hugo Forster
West Palm Beach sewer pipe lining service
Recently trenchless pipe lining in West Palm Beach reached a new milestone in trenchless sewer repair underneath the slabs of houses and in the walls of high rise condos. The technology has been around for over 30 years, but is not well known to homeowners and high rise condo tenants.
A sewer drain or a rain drain can be restored in 4 hours with a new inner pipe lining that lasts over 100 years. It comes with a 50 year warranty and costs about half as much as excavation of the floor and physical pipe replacement followed by concrete replacement and new flooring installation. That process takes usually over 2 weeks. It is also very messy and homeowners have to move into hotels during excavation. Here’s how the process works:
How Does The West Palm Beach Sewer Pipe Lining Service Work?
First of all the pipe is video inspected to determine how long the pipe lining material has to be. Next the pipe lining material is saturated from the inside with an epoxy resin that hardens by itself within 4 hours. Then the pipe lining material is pulled into the pipe and the internal temporary balloon called a calibration tube is inflated. After 4 hours the balloon is removed and a final video inspection is done to determine the pipe lining accuracy. This is a alternative to pipe replacement which only costs half as much as excavation and last 100 years.
