Kendall Pipe Lining Company Repairs Old Cast Iron Drain Pipes In 4 Hours Without Excavation, With a 50-Year Warranty!

If you live in Kendall, Miami, and you are experiencing repeat backups either in the bathrooms, laundry, or kitchen, it is usually because your cast iron pipes are older than 50 years. Over time the bottom of the pipe corrodes the fastest and eventually becomes so thin that a crack forms. When the crack widens, the serrated edges catch on the debris which causes more debris to get stuck on the original debris, which causes repeated backups.

Our Pipe Lining Has A 50-Year Warranty!

A 2000-square-foot house in Kendall would have about a hundred feet of cast iron pipe under the slab, which would take about six weeks to excavate and replace, which usually costs about $50,000. But these days, our trenchless pipe lining technologies can restore those pipes without excavation for a minimum of 50 years for around $17,000. All the work is done from the rooftop and from the outside of the house and it only takes about 4 days for a house that size. At the top of this website, there is a tab called “references”, with the names and phone numbers of all our prior customers in Kendall, which we recommend you call if you have any doubts about this technology that we have been using since 2004!

We do our estimates in the Kendall area (including Coral Gables, Palmetto Bay, etc.) every Tuesday and Wednesday, it takes about 15 minutes at the most to take measurements and we give you the quote immediately.

Here Are The 2 Common Technologies Used As Of 2020 To Rehabilitate/Repair Underground Cast Iron Drains Without Excavation

Benefits Of Trenchless Pipe Lining

  • No digging through your floors
  • Much less expensive – pipe relining costs about 50% less than excavation
  • Save your tile, wood, or marble  – it’s usually impossible to find matching floor surfaces that were installed decades ago
  • Stay in your home not a hotel – pipe relining is done from outside, so you can stay in your residence
  • Speed – pipe lining takes 1 day, not months as for pipe replacement by excavation
  • The plumbing can be used during installation except for 3-4 hours a day

How Is It Installed, And What’s The Cost In Miami-Dade County?

From outside your property, we open the pipe, clean out the rust, scale, and roots, and then install a new “pipe liner” or sleeve that has been saturated with a self-hardening epoxy resin. The liner contains a balloon that is inflated for 3 hours while the resin becomes rock-hard. Then the balloon is removed and a video inspection is performed to ensure correct installation. The pipe is put back into use immediately. Learn more pipe lining installation details here.

How Strong Is The Pipe Lining?

The pipe liner is a fabric tube made of polyester which is then “wet out” with a 2-part epoxy resin which is mixed together in a certain proportion. In about 30 minutes resin heats up by itself to 180 degrees Fahrenheit due to an exothermic chemical reaction and becomes rock hard.

The resulting new inner pipe liner is so strong that it is a stand-alone pipe, not needing the old exterior pipe for structural integrity. The liner is designed to go under load-bearing footers, roads, driveways, etc.
