How does it work?
First, we access the main pipe that leaves the house in the yard. We dig a small hole in the grass and cut open the pipe. From there all the old rust and scale are removed from within the pipe under careful camera supervision. Once the pipes have been cleaned thoroughly the new pipe lining material is prepared. It consists of a long fabric tube that contains a temporary balloon. Then a special, self-hardening epoxy resin, is saturated into the fabric, and the entire lining is pulled into the pipe. At that point, the balloon is inflated for a few hours and after approximately 4 hours the balloon is removed and a rock-hard, load-bearing, permanent new inner pipe has been installed. The internal pipe diameter is only reduced by about 5%, which is negligible. Pipe lining guarantees that no backups will ever occur again. When we are finished, we make a video recording of each lined pipe and upload them online, which gets emailed to the homeowner with the 50-year warranty.
