Our Coral Gables Cast Iron Plumbing Repair Service Can Restore Your Old Drains For 100 Years, Without Any Digging!

Our Trenchless Pipe Lining Has A 50-Year Warranty!

Our trenchless pipe replacement technology also known as “cured in place pipe lining” is installed inside the old drains without having to dig through your floors and replace the pipes the old-fashioned way. The process only takes a couple of days and costs about half as much.

So the good news is that this tried and tested technology is available in South Florida and has been installed in thousands of homes and high-rise buildings. It is not actually a new technology, it is only relatively unknown. But homeowners who use it are relieved to realize that they have saved all their tiles on marble floors and that they did not have to vacate their home for 3 or 4 weeks while destructive excavation and pipe replacement was done.

We do quotes in Coral Gables every Tuesday and Wednesday.

So how does cast iron plumbing repair using cured-in-place pipe lining process work?

All the work is done from outside of the property. First, a small hole is dug in the grass to access the old pipe. From this point, special high-pressure water jetting machines are used to extract all the old rust and calcium scale buildup. At that point, the remaining pipe is measured using a video inspection camera so that the correct length of pipe lining material can be cut to size and small pieces of the lining can be cut out where the branch pipes intersect the pipe being relined.

Then a long flexible fabric liner is next totally saturated using a very special two part epoxy resin that when mixed in the correct ratio will heat up to about 180 degrees Fahrenheit which hardens the epoxy in about 3 to 4 hours. Then the liner is pulled into the pipe and a temporary internal balloon is inflated to about 20 psi which pushes the lining material against the wall of the old pipe. Once the pipe lining material has fully hardened the balloon is removed and the pipe can be used immediately.

The Advantages of Trenchless Pipe Lining:

Trenchless pipe lining offers a superior alternative to excavation when it comes to repairing drains located under the floor. Here are the benefits of this innovative solution:

  1. Non-Invasive: Trenchless pipe lining eliminates the need for extensive excavation. It involves inserting a flexible and durable epoxy resin liner into the existing pipe, which creates a new pipe within the old one. This process requires only small access points, minimizing disruption to your home’s structure and finishes.
  2. Time-Efficient: Compared to excavation, trenchless pipe lining significantly reduces the repair timeline. The entire process can often be completed within a day, allowing you to regain the use of your facilities promptly. This minimizes inconvenience and disruption to your daily life.
  3. Cost-Effective: Trenchless pipe lining offers cost savings in multiple ways. The reduction in labor and materials required for excavation translates into lower overall project costs. Additionally, the minimal need for restoration and renovation eliminates expenses related to replacing cabinets, flooring, and other finishes.
  4. Long-Lasting Solution: The epoxy resin liner used in trenchless pipe lining forms a seamless and durable new pipe within the existing one. This new pipe is resistant to common issues like corrosion, leaks, and root intrusion. It provides a long-lasting solution that reduces the likelihood of future drain problems.
  5. Preserves Aesthetics: Trenchless pipe lining allows you to retain the original aesthetics of your home’s interior. With no excavation or extensive demolition required, there is no need to replace flooring materials, tiles, terrazzo, or cabinets. This preserves the visual appeal and value of your living space.
