So how does this drain pipe repair service in Miami work?
First, we clean the cast iron drains by removing all the rust and accumulated scale using a high-pressure water jetting machine called a hydro-jetter. Sometimes we also have to use drain-snake machines to physically scrape off the old scale. All this debris is removed by hydro jetting and all the work is performed from outside of the property. This type of drain pipe repair is completely non-invasive since we do not need to have to access to the property and don’t need to dig up any old drains.
Next video inspection camera is used to determine where the branch lines connect with the pipe being repaired. The video camera also determines how long the new pipe lining material has to be. Then we have to mix a two-part epoxy resin together in a certain ratio that will create an exothermic reaction that hardens the resin in about 3 or 4 hours.
This resin is saturated into the pipe lining material that contains a temporary internal balloon. This entire saturated lining material and balloon is next pulled into the sewer drain pipe that is being repaired. The balloon is inflated for 3 or 4 hours and is then removed and a final video inspection is performed to confirm correct installation. This video inspection is uploaded to YouTube and emailed to the customer.

So how much does this type of drain pipe replacement cost in Miami?
We maintain the same cost no matter which town we work in South Florida. The actual cost would be around $100 to $200 per linear foot depending upon the amount of pipe cleaning required, the total length of pipe being relined, the amount of access available, and the volume of work that we have scheduled. A 2500 square foot residential property would typically run around $24,000 to restore completely. The installation would take about 4 to 6 days depending upon the amount of cleaning required but the pipes are available for use each evening from around 6 pm to 10 a.m. the next morning.
