Our Pipe Lining Has A 50-Year Warranty!

All homes in Miami Dade County built before 1972, have cast iron drain pipes under the slab. Over time, the bottom of the pipe corrodes and becomes so thin that a crack forms that has serrated edges. That causes toilet paper and other debris to get stuck, which in turn causes repeated backups into toilets, showers, and bathtubs.

To replace these cast iron pipes the old-fashioned way using a sewer drain replacement contractor by excavation methods, typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, destroys all the floor surfaces, and the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and costs $50,000 to $75,000.

On the other hand, our trenchless pipe lining technologies can restore those pipes within three to 4 days without any digging, and it only costs about $17,000 for the typical 2000-square-foot home, and comes with a 50-year warranty!

So how does this drain pipe repair service in Miami work?

First, we clean the cast iron drains by removing all the rust and accumulated scale using a high-pressure water jetting machine called a hydro-jetter. Sometimes we also have to use drain-snake machines to physically scrape off the old scale. All this debris is removed by hydro jetting and all the work is performed from outside of the property. This type of drain pipe repair is completely non-invasive since we do not need to have access to the property and don’t need to dig up any old drains.

Next video inspection camera is used to determine where the branch lines connect with the pipe being repaired. The video camera also determines how long the new pipe lining material has to be. Then we have to mix a two-part epoxy resin together in a certain ratio that will create an exothermic reaction that hardens the resin in about 3 or 4 hours.

This resin is saturated into the pipe lining material that contains a temporary internal balloon. This entire saturated lining material and the balloon are next pulled into the sewer drain pipe that is being repaired. The balloon is inflated for 3 or 4 hours and is then removed and a final video inspection is performed to confirm correct installation. This video inspection is uploaded to YouTube and emailed to the customer.
